According to the literature and history materials and clinical data， the clinical experience was sorted out of Gu's surgery school in diagnosis and treatment of breast disease. It is considered that Gu's surgical school attaches importance to the diagnostic and therapeutic approaches of the combination of the unique location and pathogenesis of the disease， the combination of internal and external pathogenesis， the changes of yin and yang， and pays attention to the smooth qi movement. In the treatment of breast disease，Gu's surgical school emphasizes recuperation of the patients when attacking pathogenic factors and resolving phlegm， the combination of internal therapy and external therapy，and focuses on the regulation of thoroughfare vessel and conception vessel， spleen and stomach， and emotion.
