Objective:To observe the clinical and pathological effects of Weiqi Decoction on the treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis with qi deficiency and blood stasis. MethodsSixty-two patients with chronic atrophic gastritis with qi deficiency and blood stasis were randomly divided into treatment group (32 cases) and control group (30 cases). Both groups were given conventional treatment of Western medicine,but selenium yeast capsules and teprenone capsules were added into the control group on this basis and the treatment group was added with Weiqi Decoction. Both groups were treated for 3 months to observe the clinical efficacy and pathological changes,and to compare the changes of TCM syndrome scores.  Results:① The total effective rate of the treatment group and the control group were 90.6% and 56.7% respectively,and the clinical efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of the control group (P<0.05). ②=2\*GB3After treatment,the scores of TCM syndromes in the two groups were decreased compared with those before treatment (P<0.05),and the difference of TCM syndromes between the two groups after treatment was statistically significant (P<0.05). ③=3\*GB3 The total effective rate of gland atrophy in the treatment group and the control group was 62.5% and 30.0%,and the total effective rate of intestinal metaplasia was 58.1% and 27.6%,respectively. The improvement of pathological changes in the treatment group was better than that in the control group (P<0.05).  Conclusion:The effect of Weiqi Decoction on treating chronic atrophic gastritis with deficiency of qi and blood stasis is satisfactory. It can obviously improve the clinical symptoms of the patients and to some extent reverse the atrophy of the inherent glands of gastric mucosa and intestinal metaplasia.
