This paper introduces Zhang Zhaohui’s experience in treating diabetic foot based on theory of “Wei Qi Ying Xue”. It is considered that the root cause of diabetic foot is disharmony of Wei-Qi-Ying -Xue,which manifests as phlegm,turbidity and stasis. The treatment should be based on and guided by the theory of “Wei Qi Ying Xue”. According to the accompanying symptoms such as blood stasis and blood deficiency,Guizhi Decoction,Siwu Decoction,Buyang Huanwu Decoction,Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction and so on can be used for syndrome differentiation and treatment.
