This paper introduces Professor Gao Jiandong’s clinical experience in treating uric acid nephropathy by stage. It is considered that the etiology and pathogenesis of this disease are deficiency of spleen and kidney,intermingled phlegm and blood stasis. In the treatment,symptomatic treatment can be used in acute condition,including clearing heat and promoting diuresis,cooling blood for relieving pain；radical treatment can be used in chronic case,including dissipating phlegm and removing blood stasis combined with tonifying spleen and kidney. One proven case is presented.
