Objective:To investigate the effects of Chaizhi Pinggan Decoction on motilin (MTL),gastrin (Gas),somatostatin (SS) and ghrelin in patients with functional dyspepsia(FD). Methods94 FD patients were randomly divided into the control group and observation group, 47 cases in each group. The control group was orally treated with domperidone tablets, the observation group was orally treated with Chaizhi Pinggan Decoction, with a course of 4 weeks. The changes on the scores of main symptoms and the levels of MTL,Gas,SS and ghrelin were observed in both groups before and after treatment. Results:①After treatment, the clinical symptom scores were decreased in both groups compared with treatment before(P<0.05),and all symptom scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05). ②Compared with treatment before, the levels of MTL and Gas were increased and the level of SS was decreased in both groups after treatment(P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of MTL and Gas in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05),and the level of SS in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05). ③Compared with treatment before, the levels of ghrelin in the plasma and gastric mucosa were increased in both groups after treatment(P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of ghrelin in the plasma and gastric mucosa in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion:Chaizhi Pinggan Decoction in the treatment of functional dyspepsia can improve the gastrointestinal function through the expression regulation of MTL,Gas,SS and ghrelin.
