This paper analyzes and summarizes the etiology,pathogenesis and treatment methods of emotional diseases in Confucians’ Duties to Parents(Rumen Shi Qin).It is considered that the emotional diseases are caused by deficiency of vital qi, adverse rising of yang qi liver qi invading spleen and disorder of qi movement. The psychotherapy and the spiritual desensitization therapy could be used in the treatment. Combined with modern psychology and the characteristics of modern psychological diseases,it suggests that the theory of emotion in Confucians’ Duties to Parents could enlighten the treatment of modern emotional diseases.
