Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Zizhu Ointment with external application in the treatment of venous ulcer in lower limb. Methods60 patients of venous ulcer in lower limb were randomly divided into the treatment group and control group,30 cases in each group. The treatment group was treated with Zizhu Ointment for external application,and the control group was treated with spray of recombinant bovine basic fibroblast growth factor and ethacridine lactate solution for moisten compress,with a course of 100 days. The clinical efficacy was observed,and the ulcer area,the maximum diameter and the healing time were compared.  Results:①The clinical total effective rate of the treatment group and the control group were 96.67% and 83.33% respectively,and the clinical efficacy of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.05).②For the comparison between the two groups after treatment,the decrease of ulcer area and maximum diameter in the treatment group were more significant than those in the control group(P<0.05). ③During the trial,the healing time of ulcer in the treatment group was significantly shorter than that in the control group(P<0.05).  Conclusion:Zizhu Ointment with external application can be used in the treatment of venous ulcer in lower limb,which significantly improve the wound environment,enhance the cure rate and shorten the course of disease.
