Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Xiapu Fuling Decoction in the treatment of functional dyspepsia with syndrome of spleen and stomach deficiency. Methods70 patients of functional dyspepsia with syndrome of spleen and stomach deficiency were randomly divided into the treatment group (36 cases)and control group(34 cases). The control group was treated with domperidone tables,and the treatment group was treated with Xiapu Fuling Decoction,with a course of one month. The clinical efficacy was observed,the TCM syndrome scores were compared,and the efficacy persistence during follow-up was evaluated.  Results:①The clinical total effective rate was 88.89% in the treatment group and 73.53% in the control group. The clinical efficacy of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.05). ②For the comparison after treatment,the improvement on the scores of abdominal distention and fullness,loss of appetite,fatigue and weakness,nausea and vomiting,loose stool and the total score in the treatment group were more significant than those in the control group(P<0.05). ③For the comparison between withdrawal for 3 months and 6 months,the difference on TCM syndrome score in the treatment group was not statistically significant(P>0.05),while this difference in the control group was statistically significant(P<0.05). When withdrawal for 3 months and 6 months,the TCM syndrome scores in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).  Conclusion:Xiapu Fuling Decoction can be used in the treatment of functional dyspepsia with syndrome of spleen and stomach deficiency,which can significantly relieve the clinical symptoms of patients with longer persistent efficacy.
