Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Jiangzhi Recipe of medicinal tea combined with external application in the treatment of alcoholic fatty liver. Methods 120 cases of patients with alcoholic fatty liver were randomly divided into the observation group and control group,60 cases in each group. The observation group was treated with medicinal tea of Jiangzhi Recipe combined with external application of Jiangzhi Recipe at abdominal region of liver,the control group was treated with Xuezhikang capsule combined with tiopronin enteric-coated tablets,with a course of 3 months. The changes of liver function(serum ALT,AST),serum lipids(TC,TG),controlled attenuation parameters(CAP)of hepatic steatosis were observed and compared.  Results: Compared with the treatment before,the levels of ALT,AST,TC,TG and CAP were significantly decreased in both groups after treatment(P<0.05)；there were statistically significant differences on all the indicators between the two groups after treatment(P<0.05).  Conclusion: Jiangzhi Recipe of medicinal tea combined with external application shows good efficacy in the treatment of alcoholic fatty liver with no obvious adverse reaction.
