Objective:To observe the effects of Jiaji acpoint (EX-B2) injection of safflower injection on the inflammatory factors in patients with lumbar disc herniation. Methods80 cases of lumbar disc herniation were randomly divided into the observation group and control group,40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with routine western medicine, the observation group was treated with safflower injection for Jiaji acpoint (EX-B2) injection based on the treatment for the control group, with a course of 2 weeks. The clinical efficacy was observed, and the visual analogue scale (VAS) score,Japanese orthopaedic association(JOA)score and the levels of IL-6,NO were compared before and after treatment. Results:The total effective rate was 97.5% in the observation group and 70.0% in the control group. The clinical efficacy of the observation group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the VAS score was decreased(P<0.05)and the JOA score was increased(P<0.05)in both groups compared with treatment before. The improvement on the scores in the observation group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of IL-6 and NO were decreased in both groups compared with treatment before(P<0.05),and the levels in the observation group was lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion:The Jiaji acpoint injection of safflower injection in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation can effectively reduce the release of inflammatory factors, and further alleviate the pain.
