Objective:To observe the effects of optimized Gangyong Recipe on postoperative wound healing of high perianal abscess. MethodsTotally 70 patients with high perianal abscess were randomly divided into two groups. 35 patients in the control group were treated with surgery alone. The other 35 patients in the treatment group were orally treated with optimized Gangyong Recipe after surgery,with a course of 7 days. The clinical efficacy was observed in the two groups. The shedding time of wound slough,the disappearance time of wound edema and exudation,the time of wound healing in the two groups were compared. The change of pH value in wound was detected.  Results:①The total effective rate was 97.14% in the treatment group and 91.43% in the control group. There was no statistical difference on the clinical efficacy between the two groups (P> 0.05). ②The shedding time of wound slough,the disappearance time of wound edema and exudation,the time of wound healing in the treatment group were all less than those in the control group(P<0.05).③In the treatment group,the wound pH value on the 7th day after surgery was lower than that on the 3rd day(P<0.01).  Conclusion:Optimized Gangyong Recipe can significantly promote the wound healing after surgery for high perianal abscess.
