This paper discussed Dong’s Jinsu Pill in the prevention and treatment of febrile convulsion in children from etiology and pathogenesis, syndrome differentiation and treatment. It considers that Jinsu Pill has the effects of suppressing hyperactive liver and nourishing yin,arresting convulsion for tranquillization. It also summarizes that the treatments for this disease focus on invigorating spleen to consolidate defensive qi and prevention of recurrence. Two proven cases were recorded.
