Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Xu’s Zhenzhu Dingchuan Prescription in the treatment of bronchial asthma with heat syndrome. Methods80 cases of bronchial asthma with heat syndrome were randomly divided into the treatment group and control group,40 cases in each group. The treatment group was treated with Xu’s Zhenzhu Dingchuan Prescription,and the control group was treated with compound methoxyphenamine capsules and budesonide powder inhalation,with a course of 7 days. The clinical efficacy was observed,the scores of TCM single symptom(dyspnea,cough,expectoration etc.)and the indexes related to lung function as forced vital capacity (FVC),forced expiratory volume in the first second (FEV,1,) and peak expiratory flow (PEF) were compared.  Results: ①The clinical total effective rate was 87.50% in the treatment group and 67.50% in the control group,the clinical efficacy in the treatment group was obviously better than that in the control group(P,<,0.05). ②For the comparison between groups after treatment,the differences on the scores of dyspnea and cough were statistically significant(P,<,0.05),and the differences on the scores of other symptoms were not statistically significant(P,>,0.05). ③There were statistically significant differences on the levels of FEV,1, and PEF between the two groups after treatment(P,<,0.05),but no obvious change of FVC was found(P,>,0.05).  Conclusion: Xu’s Zhenzhu Dingchuan Prescription shows good effects in the treatment of bronchial asthma with heat syndrome,which can significantly relieve the clinical symptoms of patients and improve the pulmonary ventilation function.
