Based on the doctrine on Yunqi,Wang Kentang’s differentiation and treatment for diseases had made contribution in internal medicine,surgery,pediatrics,gynecology,ophthalmology and otorhinolaryngology. The features of clinical application include 5 aspects as synthesis of views in Neijing and collection of various theories; illustration combined with pictures and words and explanation of the mechanism of Yunqi；analogy of clinical syndrome based on Zhongyun；demonstration of the relationship between disease mechanism and doctrine on Yunqi and analysis of monarch fire and ministerial fire. Wang’s abundant experience in diagnosis and treatment of disease based on doctrine on Yunqi are worth learning,which provide important reference for modern Chinese medicine in the profound understanding of the value of doctrine on Yunqi.
