This paper summarized the characteristics of Ye Tianshi’ treatment of liver disease from clinical practice guide with medical record. It is described as nourishing water and wood,including nourishing lower energizer,suppressing yang and nourishing yin,warming kidney and cooling liver；regulating liver and stomach,including supporting stomach-yin to treat liver-yang,supporting stomach-yin to nourish liver-yin,supplying jue-yin and yang-ming,slowing down the emergency with sugariness and reinforcing spleen for liver；supporting gold to suppress wood,including nourishing lung for liver,clearing away the lung-heat to treat liver；removing heat and purging fire from liver,nourishing liver and activating meridians,relieving convulsion and spasm.
