This paper reviewed the application status of anti-angiogenic effects of traditional Chinese medicine in tumor disease. The relevant literatures at home and abroad in recent years were summarized and analyzed. This article reviewed the relationship between tumor and angiogenesis and the underlying mechanism,the research progress on anti-angiogenic effects of single herb monomer and herbal compound of traditional Chinese medicine,and elaborated the potential features and advantages of traditional Chinese medicine in the research field of angiogenesis,as well as the action link and mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine in the process of angiogenesis.
