This paper discussed professor Chen Jinli’s experience in the treatment of perimenopausal syndrome. He considered the main pathogenesis of perimenopausal syndrome as deficiency of kidney,hyperactivity of heart-fire and imbalance between heart and kidney. The treatment should be based on clearing heart-fire,combined with strengthening spleen and stomach to nourish the weaken kidney qi,so as to reconstruct the balance of normal physiological coordination between heart and kidney and thus pass the perimenopausal period safely.
