Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of “Qinggan Jiangzhi Decoction” in the treatment of nonalcoholic steatohepatitis with spleen-deficiency and phlegm-stasis. MethodsOne hundred and twenty-five subjects were randomly divided into two groups:the treatment group in which 62 cases were treated with “Qinggan Jiangzhi Decoction”and the control group in which 63 cases were treated with polyene phosphatidylcholine tablet and Dangfei Liganning Capsule, with a course of 24 weeks. The syndrome score of TCM, liver function, blood lipid, body weight, BMI, B-ultrasonic results of the liver were observed and compared before and after treatment.  Results:①After treatment, the syndrome scores of TCM significantly decreased in both groups compared with before treatment(P<0.01), but with no statistical difference between the two groups(P>0.05); ②After treatment, the levels of ALT, AST, TC, TG and γ-GT significantly decreased in both groups compared with before treatment(P<0.01), but with no statistical difference between the two groups(P>0.05); ③After treatment, the body weight and BMI significantly decreased in both groups compared with before treatment(P<0.05, P<0.01), but with no statistical difference between the two groups(P>0.05);④After treatment, the B-ultrasonic results of the liver were improved in both groups(P<0.01), and the efficacy in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P<0.01).  Conclusion:“Qinggan Jiangzhi Decoction” could be used in the treatment of nonalcoholic steatohepatitis with spleen-deficiency and phlegm-stasis,which significantly improved clinical symptoms and liver functions, especially alleviates the severity of fatty liver.
