Objective:To observe the effect of Bai’s Huzhang ointment on wound healing after low anal fistuletomy. Methods150 patients with low anal fistulectomy were randomly divided into the treatment group A, treatment group B and control group,50 cases in each group. The treatment group A was treated with Bai’s Huzhang ointment on the gauze.The treatment group B were treated with Hongyou ointment on the gauze. The control group was treated with vaseline on the gauze,with a course of 21 days. The wound healing progress, weekly wound healing rate, postoperative pain and exudate were observed and compared.  Results:①The wound healing time in the treatment group A was significantly less than that in the treatment group B and control group (P<0.05). There was no statistically significant difference between the treatment group B and control group (P>0.05). ②In the first two weeks, the wound healing rate in the treatment group A was significantly higher than that in the treatment group B and control group (P<0.05). In the third week,the wound healing rate in the treatment group A was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05), but the difference of wound healing rate between treatment group A and B showed no statistical significance (P>0.05).③Compared within group after operation,the pain and exudate grading on the 7th,14th,21th day were statistically significant compared with those on the 2nd day (P<0.05). The pain and exudate grading in the treatment group A were significantly lighter than those in the treatment group B and control group on the 7th and 14th day after operation (P<0.05).  Conclusion:Bai’s Huzhang ointment could obviously accelerate wound healing and improve pain and exudate after low anal fistulectomy.
