Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of “Yiqi Huoxue Huayu Therapy” in treatment of ovarian cyst and its effects on serum sex hormones. MethodsOne hundred and sixty-five cases of ovarian cyst were randomized into the observation group (84 cases) and control group (81 cases), and respectively treated with “Yiqi Huoxue Huayu Therapy” and “Guizhi Fuling Pills” respectively, with a course of two months. The syndrome scores, serum sex hormones testosterone(T), follicle stimulating hormone(FSH), progesterone(LH), estradiol(E,2,), progesterone(P) and the size of ovarian cyst were detected before and after treatment.  Results: ①After treatment, the syndrome scores diminished and the size of ovarian cyst reduced in both groups(P,<,0.05), with better efficacy in the observation group than in the control group(P,<,0.05). ②After treatment, the levels of P and E,2, decreased and the levels of FSH and LH increased in both groups(P,<,0.05), with more significant improvement in the observation group than in the control group(P,<,0.05).  Conclusion:“Yiqi Huoxue Huayu Therapy” was quite effective in the treatment of ovarian cyst by regulating serum sex hormones.
