This article introduced the clinical experience of Professor Peng Peichu in the treatment of advanced prostate cancer. Professor Peng proposed “lung-kidney insufficiency” in hormone dependent stage and “yin deficiency affecting yang” in hormone independent stage as the main pathogenesis,and advocatd the treatment idea of “mutual promotion between lung and kidney and and reinforcing the mother-organ to treat deficiency” for hormone dependent stage and “warming kidney yang and regulating the sanjiao” for hormone independent stage responsively. The corresponding basic prescription for addition and subtraction was summarized. Two proven case was presented for example.
