Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of “Qingre Huatan Decoction” in treating asthmatic bronchitis and its influence on lung function. MethodsOne hundred and fifty-seven subjects were randomized into observation group(n=81) and control group(n=75), and treated by Procaterol Hydrochlorise Oral Solution; besides, they were treated respectively by “Qingre Huatan Decoction” and “Shegan Mixture”, with a course of 10 days. The clinical efficacy and lung function were observed.  Results:The total effective ratewas 93.83% in the observation group and 86.84% in the control group, with no difference between them(P>0.05).After treatment, Rrs SO was obviously reduced in both groups(P<0.05), with lower level in the observation group than in the control group(P<0.05); the Crs SO was increased in both groups(P<0.05), with no difference between the two groups(P>0.05).  Conclusion:“Qingre Huatan Decoction” is quite effective in treating infantile asthmatic bronchitis and improving lung function.
