Objective:To develop the risk questionnaire according to TCM symptoms associated possible factors asymptomaticlower extremity atherosclerosis(LEAD) in an attempt to increase early diagnosis. MethodsTwo hundreds subjects were surveyed with the risk questionnaire about asymptomatic LEAD based on ultrasound and ABI as positive diagnostic markers, which were then analyzed.  Results:①The area below ROC curve of simple ABI was 0.867, the area of simple TCM symptoms 0.896 and the area of simple risk factors 0.864. ②In combination with TCM symptoms and risk factors, the area of predicted probability under the curve was 0.955.③ When TCM syndrome score scale weight was 0.7 and risk factors score scale weight was 0.3, the diagnostic value was highest, the area under the curve was 0.956 and the Youden index was 0.780.Transferred by the correction formula, the critical value was 40.83.  Conclusion:Combination of TCM symptoms and risk factors can be used for the diagnosis and screening of asymptomaticlower extremity atherosclerosis.
