Objective:To investigate the impact of herbal menstruation-regulation therapy on sex hormones and ovarian artery blood flow in patients with diminished ovarian reserve. MethodsSeventy-four subjects were divided into two groups:control group in which 37 cases were treated by climen, and treatment group in which 37 cases were treated by climen and herbal menstruation-regulation therapy, with a course of three months. The levels of sex hormones and ovarian artery blood flow were detected before and after treatment. Results:After treatment, the levels of FSH, LH and E,2, were decreased significantly in both groups(P,<,0.05), with lower levels in the treatment group than in the control group (P,<,0.05). After treatment, the resistance indexes of ovarian artery blood flow were reduced in both groups(P,<,0.05); the peak systolic velocity(PSV) of ovarian artery blood flow was elevated in both groups(P,<,0.05), with higher velocity in the treatment group than in the control group (P,<,0.05). Conclusion:Herbal menstruation-regulation therapy helps reducing sex hormones and improving ovarian artery blood flow in patients with diminished ovarian reserve.
