Objective:To evaluate the economic value of Kuntai Capsule and hormones in the treatment of perimenopausal syndrome. Methods Articles of randomized controlled trial were enrolled and screened by Cochrane system from 2000 to 2015 years regarding Kuntai Capsule and hormones in the treatment of perimenopausal syndrome. The data were analyzed by Revman 5.3 software.to determine the effective rate, safety and cost.  Results:①The clinical effective rate was higher of Kuntai Capsule than hormones(P<0.05); ②The safety was superior of Kuntai Capsule to hormones(P<0.05); ③With the increase of effective rate by 1%, the cost of Kuntai Capsule increased by 15.2 yuan, while the hormones by 12.5 yuan.  Conclusion: Compared with hormones, Kuntai Capsule is efficient and safe in the treatment of perimenopausal syndrome. They can be used on individual condition.
