Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of “Zhixuean Mixture” in the treatment of acute hemorrhoids bleeding. MethodsSixty subjects were randomized into treatment group and control group(30 cases in each group), and respectively treated with “Zhixuean Mixture” and “Zhining Pills” for seven days. The clinical efficacy, and the scores of such symptoms as hematochezia, pain, prolapse, hemorrhoids mucosa state and hemorrhoidal size were observed before and after treatment.  Results:The total effective rate was 93.33% in the treatment group and 83.33% in the control group, with better effects in the treatment group than in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment, the scores of hematochezia, pain, hemorrhoids mucosa state and hemorrhoidal size were reduced in both groups(P<0.05,P<0.01), with more significant reduction in the treatment group than in the control group(P<0.05).  Conclusion:“Zhixuean Mixture”is quite effective in the treatment of acute hemorrhoids bleeding.
