This article analyzes the rule of treating kidney disease combined with clinical practice. The early stage of nephronia is the yang-edema stage, which should be treated through diaphoresis and eliminating pathogen. Patients in this stage can be treated with Gancao Mahuang Decoction, Xiaoqinglong Decoction, Daqinglong Decoction, Yuebi Decoction, Mahuang Lianqiao Chixiaodou Decoction, etc. The intermediate stage is the ying-edema stage which should be treated through invigorating the spleen to alleviate water, and eliminating wind and consolidating superficies. Patients in this stage can be treated with Fangji Huangqi Decoction and Mufangji Decoction. The later stage is the deficient stage which should be treated through invigorating the kidney and warming yang. Patients in this stage can be treated with Zhenwu Decoction, Shenqi Pill, Shuyu Pill. The advanced stage is the toxin stage which should be treated through eliminating toxin and hydropoisoning by catharsis. Patients in this stage can be treated with Dachengqi Decoction, Tiaowei Chengqi Decoction and Zhuling Decoction,etc.
