This paper introduce Professor Wang Ankang’s clinical features and experience in treating cough and asthma. It is believed that the etiology of this disease is multiple and has relationship with disorder of lung qi; as to the principle of treatment, we should pay more attention of phlegm, but treating phlegm is not enough; we should differentiating this disease with Xu and Shi for Xu syndrome is not the only course of cough and asthma syndrome; the treatment should be given according to different patients, children and women should regulating stomach, nourishing yin.
