Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of “Shengjiang Xiaopi Decoction” in the treatment of diabetic gastroparesis Methods:Seventy-six subjects were randomized into two groups:treatment group in which 38 cases were treated with “Shengjiang Xiaopi Decoction” and control group in which 38 cases were treated with Domperidone Tablets, with a course of four weeks. The clinical efficacy, syndrome scores and serum gastrin were observed Results:The total effective rate was 86.48% in the treatment group and 71.05%, with a difference between the two groups(P<0.05). After treatment, the syndrome scores and gastrin levels were reduced in both groups(P<0.05), with lower score and level in the treatment group than in the control group(P<0.05) Conclusion:“Shengjiang Xiaopi Decoction” is quite effective for diabetic gastroparesis by reducing serum gastrin.
