Objective:To observe clinical effect of “Shujing Decoction”in the treatment of cold congealing and blood stasis type of primary dysmenorrheal  Methods:80 patients were randomized into treatment group and control group,40 cases in each group. Treatment goup was treated with “Shujing Decoction”,and control group was treated with Compound Norethisterone Tablets and ibuprofen capsule. Course of the both groups was 3 months,with one year’s follow-up. The clinical efficacy,change of TCM symptoms were observed  Results:①After treatment,the total effective rate of treatment group was 92.50%,while control group was 80.00%. A significant difference was observed between two groups(P<0.05). ②The changes of scores of TCM symptoms after treatment were different between the two groups(P<0.05). ③Compared 6 months after treatment and one year after treatment,there was no significant difference in scores of TCM symptoms in treatment group(P>0.05),while there was significant difference in scores of TCM symptoms in control group(P<0.05). Compared 6 months after treatment and one year after treatment,there was significant difference in scores of TCM symptoms between two groups(P<0.05)  Conclusion:“Shujing Decoction”in treatment of cold congealing and blood stasis type of primary dysmenorrhea can relieve pain,and has longer effective time of duration.
