This paper aims at introducing Professor Tang Hanjun’s experience on treating Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis. It is believed that pathogenesis of this disease are stagnancy of the liver and function deficiency of the spleen, stagnation of qi and sputum. Health supporting and goiter clearing therapy is the treating principle of this disease. The therapy can classified into 2 aspects:the fundamental solution is replenishing qi to invigorate the spleen and relieving the depressed liver, the temporary solution is eliminating goiter and dissipating phlegm, eliminating phlegm and softening indurated mass. 3 proven cases were provided.
