This paper aims at introducing Director Jiang Zhiyan’s experience in treating childhood recurrent respiratory tract infection by stages. It is considered that heat, phlegm and blood stasis is the key of the pathogenesis of childhood recurrent respiratory tract infection; at the cute phase is the evidence of positive syndrome of heat, phlegm and blood stasis, and at steady period is the imbalance of the lung and spleen. Regulating lung and collateral is the first choice of treatment in cute phase, and reinforcing lung and spleen is the first choice in steady period, and treated by “Qingfei Tongluo decoction”. Typical drug pairs and a proven case are presented.
