Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of five-step tuina therapy for the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis Methods:Seventy-two cases with peripheral facial paralysis were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, with 36 cases in each group. Both groups were treated with infrared radiation. Control group was added with conventional acupuncture therapy, treatment group was added with five-step tuina therapy, with the course of 10 days. The clinical efficacy and facial nerve function were observed Results:① The total effective rate was 94.44% and 83.33%, with a difference in clinical efficacy between the two groups (P<0.05). ②In both groups, there were significant difference in the facial nerve function grading between before and after treatment (P<0.05); and with significant difference between the two groups after treatment (P<0.05) Conclusion:“Five-steps Tuina Therapy” has positive effect on peripheral facial paralysis.
