This paper introduces Prof. Peng’s experience in differentiating and treating IgA nephropathy. The pathogenesis of IgA nephropathy are deficiency of middle-qi, clear Qi can not rise and turbid Qi can not fall, dysfunction of triple Jiao, pathogenic wind, moisture generated internally and blood stasis. Four therapeuti  Methods: of strengthening middle energizer to nourish qi, ascending lucidity and descending turbidity, regulating triple-Jiao, eliminating wind and dispelling water are applied and one proven case is presented.
