Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of “Banxia Xiexin Decoction” and “Sini Powder” in treating reflux esophagitis Methods: One hundred and thirty-nine cases with flux esophagitis were randomly divided into treatment group and control group. Control group in which 69 cases were treated with omeprazole and domperidone, and treatment group in which 70 cases were treated with “Banxia Xiexin Decoction” and “Sini Powder”, with the course of 3 months. The curative effect and recurrence rate were observed and the TCM symptom scores were compared Results: ①The total effective rate was 85.71% in the treatment group and 60.87% in the control group, with a difference between the two groups (P<0.05). ② In both groups, there were significant differences in the symptom scores and the total scores after treatment (P<0.05); after treatment, there were significant in scores of symptoms such as pain, acid regurgitation, belching, heartburn, bitter taste, dry mouth in precordium and substernal parts between the two groups (P<0.05). ③ The recurrence rate was 15.15% in the treatment group and 38.10% in the control group, with a difference between the two groups (P<0.05) Conclusion: Combined “Banxia Xiexin Decoction” and “Sini Powder” can release the clinical symptoms, and with low recurrence rate for the treatment reflux esophagitis.
