Objective: To evaluate the inhibitory effect of “Jinfukang Decoction” on lung cancer stem cell proliferation and tumorigenesis, and to explore its effect on multidrug related protein expression regulation Methods: Immunomagnetic beads was applied to sorting the Sca-1,+, Lewis lung cancer cell. In vitro study conducted to assess the inhibitory of the cell proliferation by MTT, with a serum containing the ingredients of “Jinfukang Decoction” as the intervention; Western-Blotting and RT-PCR were used to observe the effect of reversing the expression of multidrug resistance ABCG2 Results: In vitro study founded that “Jinfukang Decoction” was able to inhibit the proliferation of the cell with time-dependent manner, and was also able to induce the apoptosis of the Sca-1,+, Lewis lung cancer cell, comparing with a control group (P,<,0.05). “Jinfukang Decoction” alone or combined with chemotherapy could down-regulate the transcription and expression of the multidrug resistance gene remarkblely, comparing with a control group (P,<,0.05) Conclusion: “Jinfukang Decoction” can significantly inhibit the proliferation f the Sca-1,+, Lewis lung cancer cell by decreasing the expression of multidrug resistance protein ABCG2.
