Objective:To discuss the clinical efficacy of Yangxin Shugan Decoction combined with the psychotherapy of systematic desensitization in the treatment of primary premature ejaculation. Methods80 patients with primary premature ejaculation were randomly divided into the treatment group and control group, 40 cases in each group. Psychotherapy of systematic desensitization was conducted in both groups,and the treatment group was given Yangxin Shugan Decoction additionally,with a course of 2 months. The change of premature ejaculation diagnostic tool(PEDT),intravagina ejaculation latency time(IELT),self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)and chinese index of sexual function for premature ejaculation(CIPE)-Q6/Q7 were observed.  Results:The total effective rate of the treatment group and control group were 72.22% and 61.11% respectively,and there was statistically significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05). Within group,compared with before treatment,there were statistically significant differences in the scores of PEDT, SAS, CIPE-Q6, CIPE-Q7 and IELT in both groups after treatment (P<0.05); After treatment, there were significant differences in the scores and IELT between the two groups (P<0.05).  Conclusion:Yangxin Shugan Decoction combined with the psychotherapy of systematic desensitization showed good effect on primary premature ejaculation,which could improve the symptoms of premature ejaculation, prolong the IELT, relieve anxiety and improve the satisfaction of sexual life.
