甘草为豆科植物甘草、胀果甘草或光果甘草的干燥根及根茎,具有补脾益气、润肺止咳、清热解毒以及调和诸药的功效,其应用历史源远流长,是重要的补虚解毒药。近年来,学界对甘草开展了大量有关化学成分、药理作用和临床应用方面的研究,证实甘草化学成分主要包括三萜皂苷类、黄酮类、多糖类、香豆素类等化合物,以及多种氨基酸及挥发油;药理研究表明甘草具有抗肿瘤、抗病毒、抗炎、保护神经等作用;临床研究表明,甘草可用于治疗呼吸道疾病、胃肠道疾病、皮肤疾病等。参考近年来甘草的相关文献,从化学成分、药理作用及其临床应用等方面对甘草进行系统综述,助力甘草的基础研究与产业化发展。

L. It possesses the efficacy of tonifying the spleen
reinforcing Qi
moistening the lungs to relieve cough
clearing heat and detoxifying
as well as harmonizing the properties of other medicinal herbs. With a long history of application
it serves as an important herb for replenishing deficiency and detoxification. In recent years
researchers have conducted extensive studies on the chemical constituents
pharmacological actions
and clinical applications of glycyrrhiza. These studies have confirmed that its chemical profile primarily comprises triterpenoid saponins
flavonoids
polysaccharides
coumarins
along with various amino acids and volatile oils. Pharmacological studies have demonstrated that glycyrrhiza possesses antitumor
antiviral
anti-inflammatory
and neuroprotective effects
etc. Clinical research has indicated its applicability in treating a range of conditions
including respiratory
gastrointestinal
and skin disorders. This paper reviews rele
vant literature on glycyrrhiza from recent years and provides a systematic summary of its chemical constituents
pharmacological actions
and clinical applications
aiming to facilitate further basic research and industrial development of this herb.
