自然铜能够散瘀接骨,是治疗骨折筋伤病十分有效的含硫矿物类中药。低价硫进入人体后能够降低内环境pH值、酸化血液,这是食源性酸中毒的一个重要原因。为对抗酸中毒,人体以破骨的方式启动最大的碱储——骨骼,高水平的破骨作用加速了成骨细胞的生成、促进了成骨作用的发生,有利于骨折愈合。自然铜由二硫化亚铁(FeS
2
)构成,其所含的低价硫同样能增加内源性酸,为破骨提供酸性环境,启动成骨。自然铜内服发挥酸化内环境的作用,调控破骨作用(“散瘀”),而破骨是成骨作用(“接骨”)的前提和必要条件。在骨折长达百日的康复过程中,使用矿物类中药——硫化物自然铜,低剂量长期给药,能够达到降低pH的目的,又避免了使用单质硫引发的酸中毒。这能够从理论上解释自然铜治疗骨折的作用机制。
Pyritum can dissipate stasis-repair bone. It is a very effective sulfur mineral traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in the treatment of fracture and sinew injury. Sulfur with low valency entering the human body can lower the pH of the internal environment and acidify the blood, which is an important cause of food-borne acidosis. In order to combat acidosis, the human body activates the largest alkali store, the skeleton, in a bone-breaking manner, and high level of bone resorption accelerates the generation of osteoblasts, promotes the occurrence of osteogenesis, which is conducive to fracture healing. Pyritum consists of ferrous disulfide, and its low-valent sulfur that also increases endogenous acid, provides an acidic environment for bone resorption and initiates osteogenesis. Internal administration of pyritum plays the role of acidifying the internal environment and regulating the bone resorption effect ("dissipating stasis"), which is the prerequisite and necessary condition for the bone formation effect ("repairing bone"). During recovery from fracture of up to a hundred days, the use of mineral TCM, the sulfide pyritum, administered in low doses over a long period of time, can lower pH and avoid the acidosis induced by using monomer sulfur. This can theoretically explain the mechanism of pyritum in treating fracture.
