摘要:The theory that "lung and large gut are mutually connected as the inside and the outside" in traditional Chinese medicine and the concept of lung-gut axis in contemporary research depicted the interactions between the lung and the gut at macro and micro levels, respectively. Based on the interaction between the lung and the gut, the role of dietary fiber in lung infection was gradually being recognized. Fermentable dietary fiber was the main substrate involved in the interactive immune mechanism of the lung and the gut, which also was a main choice for the diet management of patients with lung infection, and balance and individualization were the basic principles of dietary fiber intake.
摘要:ObjectiveTo predict the potential active components of Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction in the treatment of pancreatic cancer with blood stasis syndrome and to explore its molecular mechanism.MethodsThe main chemical constituents of Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction were collected by using the database of traditional Chinese medicine on integrative pharmacology-based research platform of traditional Chinese medicine (TCMIP) , and the candidate target spectrum of Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction was collected by using the function module of target prediction of traditional Chinese medicine, the gene sets of pancreatic cancer and blood stasis syndrome were collected by using the disease database, and the network of disease-syndrome-prescription was established based on the topological characteristic of the network. The network of "components-targets-pathways" was drawn by Cytoscape and a protein-protein interaction (PPI) network was built by STRING database. The pathway enrichment analysis of GO and KEGG was done by using DAVID database. The molecular docking of major components and targets was verified by using AutoDock.ResultsThe active components of Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction in the treatment of pancreatic cancer with blood stasis syndrome may mainly focus on the four herbs, which are bupleurum, safflower, achyranthes bidentata and platycodon grandiflorum, and it plays its role mainly through 40 chemical components, 23 targets and 29 pathways.ConclusionXuefu Zhuyu Decoction may play a role in the treatment of pancreatic cancer with blood stasis syndrome through a variety of components, affecting the targets of MAPK3, CALM1, AKT1, HSP90AA1 and CREB1 and so on, which further affect tumor-related pathway, metabolism-related pathway, immune system pathway, etc.

摘要:ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical characteristics and TCM syndrome differentiation of autonomic dysfunction with Parkinson’s disease (PD) patients in early and middle stages.MethodScales for outcomes in Parkinson’s disease-autonomic dysfunction(SCOPA-AUT) was used to determine the frequency of autonomic symptoms. All PD patients were divided into two groups: low SCORA-AUT group and high SCORA-AUT group. Six categories of autonomic symptoms and twenty-three items were analyzed. Correspondingly, the PD patients were classified according to TCM syndrome differentiation to further analyze the characteristics of various types of autonomic dysfunction.ResultsThere were significant differences in the frequency of digestive symptoms, urinary symptoms, cardiovascular symptoms, thermo-regulation and pupil regulation between the low and high SCOPA-AUT groups (P<0.05). Among them, gastrointestinal, urinary and cardiovascular symptoms had the greatest difference. The top three frequency among 23 items of SCOPA-AUT were defecation, nocturia and constipation. The greater number of autonomic symptoms PD patients had, the higher the UPDRS score (total score, Ⅰ score, Ⅱ score and Ⅳ score), HAMA score, HAMD score and PDQ-39 score they had. According TCM differentiation, PD patients with liver and kidney deficiency were the most, and the score of digestive symptoms was the highest in patients with phlegm heat and wind.ConclusionThe prevalence of autonomic dysfunction was high in early and middle stages of PD accompanied with variety of symptoms. Among these symptoms, defecation, nocturia and constipation were the most common, which seriously affected the quality of life of patients.
摘要:This paper introduces TCM Master Liu Zuyi’s clinical experience in the treatment of epilepsy from aspects of wind, phlegm, blood stasis and deficiency.It is believed that the direct causes of epilepsy are wind, phlegm and bloodstasis, which are mainly produced by the liver, spleen and kidney. Clinically, it can be treated based on the liver, spleen and kidney condition, and Jianpi Dingxian Decoction, Xifeng Dingxian Decoction, Yishen Dingxian Decoction and Huoxue Dingxian Decoction are prescribed for the treatment of epilepsy. And one proven case is presented.

摘要:A proven case of Professor Xue Zheng’s treatment of jaundice after congenital biliary atresia by warming yang, activating spleen and removing dampness was introduced. According to the medical record, the child had congenital endowment deficiency, and suffered from dampness obstruction due to dysfunction of spleen in transportation and transformation. The mixture of root vacuity and branch repletion resulted in jaundice. The dark, dull and yellow skin indicated the case belonged to yin jaundice, while abdominal distension and loose stool indicated cold syndrome. Professor Xue adopted the method of warming yang, activating spleen, removing dampness and jaundice to strengthen healthy qi and eliminate pathogenic factors, and achieved satisfactory therapeutic effects.

摘要:This paper expounded the application of "collateral-qi moving rapid" in the treatment of pyretic arthralgia from the concept of "collateral-qi moving rapid" , the etiology and pathogenesis of pyretic arthralgia, the relationship between pyretic arthralgia and "collateral-qi moving rapid" , as well as the application of "collateral-qi moving rapid" in the treatment of pyretic arthralgia. 摘要:The purpose of this paper is to discuss the clinical experience of using the theory of dispersing fire stagnation in the treatment of insomnia.It is considered that the pathogenesis of insomnia lies in the disharmony of yin and yang, and the fire is an important factor causing the disharmony of yin and yang. In addition to clearing away heat and purging fire, the method of dredging and dispersing internal stagnant heat can quickly dissipate the stagnant heat, which can obviously improve the clinical curative effect by guiding out pathogenic factors according to the situation of the "stagnant fire" . 摘要:This paper introduces Professor Ouyang Weiquan’s clinical experience in the treatment of eczema with Biantong Maxing Yigan Decoction. There are 9 kinds of Chinese medicine in the Biantong Maxing Yigan Decoction, which can be used in both attack and remission stage of eczema. Its indication includes the patients with strong constitution and tight skin, who are not easy to sweat with rough and dry skin; eczema at early stage or occurring repeatedly, and the rash is characterized by erythema, papules, blisters with slight swelling and erosive exudate, or eczema for a long time with repeated papules, blisters, exudate, dryness and desquamation. The patients are often accompanied by severe itching, thick or greasy tongue coating. And 2 proven cases are presented.
摘要:To expound thought on Hou’s Black Powder syndrome based on the textual research of literature and clinical experience. It is considered that Hou’s Black Powder is suitable for the patients with the syndrome caused by wind-heat invading the upper due to liver yang hyperactivity, which can be be treated by dispelling wind and pacifying the liver, and replenishing qi and nourishing blood, to make the pathogenic wind subsided, qi and blood abundant, and the disease cured. The formula is indicated for primary or secondary hypertension with such symptoms as dizziness, vertigo, headache, insomnia, aversion to wind-cold in chest and abdomen, heaviness and weakness of limbs, etc. This kind of patients is relatively impatient in temperament. And six proven cases are presented.

摘要:ObjectiveTo observe the clinical effect of Zhu’s Bushen Huoxue Recipe in treating patients of premature ovarian failure (POF) with syndrome of kidney deficiency and blood stasis and explore the correlation between anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) and microRNA-23a (miR-23a) of POF patients, so as to seek a safe and effective method for the treatment of POF.MethodsSeventy-three patients of POF with syndrome of kidney deficiency and blood stasis were included and randomly divided into the Chinese medicine group (35 cases) and western medicine group (38 cases). The patients in the Chinese medicine group were orally treated with Bushen Huoxue Recipe, and the patients in the western medicine group were orally treated with estradiol tablets/estradiol and dydrogesterone tablets. The treatment course was 3 menstrual cycles. Before and after treatment, the scores of Chinese medical syndrome in both groups were evaluated and compared; the levels of serum follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinizing hormone (LH), estradiol (E2), prolactin (PRL), testosterone (T), AMH and miR-23a were detected, and the correlation between AMH and miR-23a was analyzed by Pearson test; the uterine volume, ovarian volume and the peak systolic velocity (PSV) and resistance index (RI) of ovarian artery were tested through transvaginal B-mode ultrasound.Results①The score of Chinese medical syndrome: After treatment, the scores of Chinese medical syndrome in the two groups were significantly decreased (P<0.01), and the score of the Chinese medicine group was lower than that of the western medicine group (P<0.01). ②The levels of serum sex hormones: After treatment, the levels of FSH in the two groups were significantly decreased compared with those before treatment (P<0.01), and the level of LH in the western medicine group was also decreased compared with that before treatment (P<0.05). ③The levels of AMH and miR-23a: After treatment, the levels of AMH in the two groups were increased (P<0.05), and the levels of miR-23a were decreased (P<0.05); there were no statistically significant differences in the levels of AMH and miR-23a between the two groups (P>0.05). The results of correlation analysis showed that there was a negative correlation between the levels of AMH and miR-23a in POF patients before treatment (r=-0.328, P<0.05), and there was a negative correlation between the AMH and miR-23a D-values of before and after treatment in the Chinese medicine group (r=-0.470, P<0.01). ④The indexes of ultrasound test: After treatment, the PSV of ovarian artery in the two groups was significantly increased compared with that before treatment (P<0.01), the RI of ovarian artery in the Chinese medicine group was significantly decreased compared with that before treatment (P<0.01), and the RI of ovarian artery in the Chinese medicine group was lower than that in the western medicine group (P<0.05).ConclusionZhu’s Bushen Huoxue Recipe can effectively improve the Chinese medical syndrome in POF patients with syndrome of kidney deficincy and blood stasis, regulate the balance of hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian axis (HPO axis), enrich the blood supply of ovarium, decrease the level of miR-23a, increase the level of AMH, and improve the ovarian reserve function.

摘要:ObjectiveTo study the serum level of trefoil factor (TFF) 3 in patients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB) and its differential expression in different traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndromes, explore new targets for diagnosis and treatment of CHB, and help the objectification of TCM syndrome differentiation of CHB.MethodsFirst, 150 patients with CHB were set as CHB group, and 40 healthy people were set as healthy control group. Then, 150 patients with CHB were divided into normal liver function group (n=36) and abnormal liver function group (n=114) according to the condition of liver function. Finally, 114 patients with abnormal liver function were divided into deficiency syndrome group (n=59) and excess syndrome group (n=55) according to TCM syndrome differentiation. We used automatic biochemical analyzer to measure liver function, ELISA to detect the levels of TFF3 and inflammatory factors, compared the serum level of TFF3 in CHB patients with that in healthy controls, CHB patients with different liver function levels, and CHB patients with different TCM syndromes, and analyzed the correlation between liver function, inflammatory factors and serum TFF3.Results①The serum level of TFF3 in patients with CHB increased compared with that of healthy controls (P<0.01). The serum level of TFF3 in CHB patients of the excess syndrome group decreased compared with that in patients of the deficiency syndrome group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in serum level of TFF3 among CHB patients with different liver function levels (P>0.05).②The results of correlation study showed that serum level of TFF3 in CHB patients had no correlation with levels of alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), while it was positively correlated with interleukin-10 (IL-10) and interleukin-1β (IL-1β) levels with low the correlation coefficient (r=0.193, P=0.020; r=0.223, P=0.007).ConclusionThe serum expression level of TFF3 in CHB patients rises, which could be observed more obviously in patients with deficiency syndrome than in those with excess syndrome. It is speculated that TFF3 may be involved in the regulation of immune response of CHB, which is expected to become a new target for diagnosis and treatment of CHB and an objective basis for TCM syndrome differentiation.
摘要:ObjectiveTo observe the clinical effect of Sini Decoction combined with western medicine on lower extremity arteriosclerosis obliterans (ASO).MethodsA total of 100 patients with lower extremity ASO were randomly divided into control group (n=50) and treatment group (n=50). The control group was administered with conventional western medicine, while the treatment group was administered with Sini Decoction besides the conventional western medicine of the control group. The course of treatment in both groups lasted 28 days. The clinical effect was observed, and the changes in the quantitative scores of the symptoms and signs as well as the ankle-brachial index (ABI) were compared.Results①Finally, 95 patients completed the trial including 48 patients in the treatment group and 47 patients in the control group. ②The total effective rates of the treatment group and the control group were 79.2% and 57.4%, respectively. The clinical effect of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group (P<0.05). ③The intra-group comparison before and after treatment showed that there were significant differences in the module scores of skin temperature perception, skin color, pain, ABI, intermittent claudication distance and intermittent claudication remission time in both groups (P<0.05). According to the inter-group comparison after treatment, there were significant differences in the module scores of skin temperature perception, skin color, pain and ABI between the two groups (P<0.05), but the module scores of intermittent claudication distance and intermittent claudication remission time showed no significant difference (P>0.05). ④The intra-group comparison indicated that ABI differed significantly before and after treatment in both groups (P<0.05), while the inter-group comparison indicated that the difference in ABI between the two groups after treatment was not significant (P>0.05).ConclusionCompared with the single use of western medicine, the combined use of Sini Decoction with western medicine has better clinical effect on the treatment of lower extremity ASO, which can better improve the clinical symptoms and signs of patients.

摘要:ObjectiveTo observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Gu’s traditional surgical treatment of Hongyu Yin combined with cut and suture-dragging therapy for the perianal fistulizing Crohn’s disease(pfCD).MethodsThe clinical data of 66 Crohn’s disease patients with perianal fistulizing diagnosed and treated in our hospital from June 2007 to June 2017 were retrospectively analyzed. According to the treatment methods, patients were divided into treatment group(35 cases) and control group(31 cases).The treatment group was treated with Hongyu Yin combined with cut and suture-dragging therapy, while the control group was treated with cut and suture-dragging therapy. After 12 weeks, the clinical recurrence rate, healing time, therapeutic effect of TCM syndrome, the total scores of perianal disease activity index(PDAI) and main sub-items scores, the total scores of Crohn’s disease activity index(CDAI) and main sub-items scores were comparatively analyzed, and safety was assessed simultaneously.Results①There was no statistically significant difference in baseline data between the treatment group and the control group in terms of gender, age, surgical history, age at diagnosis, type of anal fistula, and lesion location (P>0.05).②After treatment, there was no significant difference in the recurrence rate in two groups(P>0.05), and the average healing time and the therapeutic effect of TCM syndrome in the treatment group was significantly better than those in the control group(P<0.05). ③After treatment, the total scores of PDAI and main sub-items scores in the two groups were decreased(P<0.05), and the scores of the treatment group were lower than those of the control group (P<0.05). ④After treatment, the total scores of CDAI, abdominal pain score, and diarrhea score of the two groups were significantly decreased(P<0.05), and the scores of the treatment group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05), but there was no significant difference in fever score between the two groups(P>0.05). ⑤There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).ConclusionCompared with suture-dragging therapy alone, Hongyu Yin combined with suture-dragging therapy could achieve satisfactory results in treating with pfCD patients as it could significantly shorten the healing time, alleviate disease symptoms and improve the quality of life while having safety.

摘要:ObjectiveTo observe the clinical effect of muscle energy technique (MET) combined with directional penetration therapy of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) on treatment of external humeral epicondylitis (EHE).MethodA total of 100 patients with external humeral epicondylitis were randomly divided into the treatment group (n=50) and the control group (n=50). The treatment group was administered with TCM directional penetration therapy combined with MET, while the control group was administered with TCM directional penetration therapy alone. The course of treatment was 14 days in both groups. We observed and compared the change of pain visual analogue scale (VAS) scores, disability of arm-shoulder-hand (DASH) scores, and the maximum thickness of common extensor tendon of elbow joint on the affected side under ultrasound.ResultsThere was no drop-out case during the trial. There were significant differences in VAS scores, DASH total scores and the maximum thickness of common extensor tendon of affected elbow joint before and after treatment in both groups (P<0.05); after treatment, the improvement of VAS scores, DASH total scores and the maximum thickness of common extensor tendon of the affected side of the elbow joint in the treatment group was significantly better than that in the control group (P<0.05).ConclusionMET combined with TCM directional penetration therapy is a feasible method of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine therapy, which can relieve the pain of patients with EHE and improve the upper limb function of patients more effectively.

摘要:ObjectiveTo observe the effect of Danshen Decoction (DSY) pretreatment on infarct size, cardiac function and inflammatory cytokines in serum in rats with myocardial ischemia/reperfusion injury (MI/RI).MethodsChemical components of DSY were analyzed by ultra-high performance liquid chromatography/ultra-resolution mass spectrometry. Thirty Wistar rats were randomly divided into five groups: sham operation group, ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) model group, DSY (low-dose, medium-dose and high-dose) pretreatment I/R groups, with 6 rats in each group. After 1 week of continuous gavage, the rat model of myocardial ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) was established by ligation of the anterior descending coronary artery for 30 min/reflow for 24h. TTC staining was used to observe the infarct size, which was measured by ImageJ software. Left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) and left ventricular fraction shortening (LVFS) were observed by Cardiac Color Ultrasound Doppler. The levels of interleukin-6 (IL-6) and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) in serum of each rat group were determined by ELISA.Results①The main chemical components of DSY were salvianolic acid B, tanshinone IIA, quercetin and quercitrin. ②Compared with the model group, the size of myocardial infarction was decreased in DSY (low-dose, medium-dose and high dose) preconditioning groups (P<0.05). ③Compared with sham operation group, LVEF and LVFS in I/R model group were significantly decreased (P<0.05, P<0.01). Compared with I/R model group, the LVEF and LVFS of rats in DSY (low-dose, medium-dose and high dose) preconditioning groups were improved (P<0.05). ④Compared with the sham operation group, the levels of IL-6 and TNF-α in serum in I/R model group were increased (P <0.01). Compared with I/R model group, the levels of IL-6 in serum in DSY (low-dose, medium-dose and high dose) pretreatment groups were decreased (P<0.01). The levels of TNF-α in serum in DSY (low-dose and medium-dose) pretreatment groups were also decreased (P<0.05). There was no significant difference of TNF-α expression between the high-dose group and the model group (P>0.05).ConclusionDSY pretreatment has the effect of reducing infarct size, improving cardiac function of MI/RI rats, whose mechanism may be related to the reduction of the expression of inflammatory cytokines in serum of MI/RI rats.
摘要:ObjectiveTo explore the mechanism of Pingchuan Formula on airway remodeling in mice with acute asthma attacks by detecting the expression levels of matrix metalloproteinase 9 (MMP-9), tissue inhibitor of matrix metalloprotease-1 (TIMP-1), E-cadherin and collagen type Ⅰ (Collagen Ⅰ) proteins in the lung tissue of mice.MethodsAccording to the random number table, 40 Balb/c male mice were divided into blank group, model group, dexamethasone group and Pingchuan Formula group, with 10 mice in each group. The groups except the blank group were modeled by OVA "sensitization + stimulation" . After 1 week of gavage administration, the lung tissue pathology was observed by Masson staining. The level of platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF) was detected by ELISA method. The protein contents of MMP-9, TIMP-1, E-cadherin and Collagen Ⅰ was detected by Western blot method.ResultsSome light blue collagen fibers could be seen in the blank group, and the collagen volume fraction(CVF) was the smallest. Compared with the blank group, the area of collagen fibers in the model group was significantly increased (P<0.01), and the color was darker; compared with the model group, the area of collagen fibers in the dexamethasone group and the Pingchuan Formula group was significantly decreased (P<0.01). Compared with the blank group, the PDGF factor level and the MMP-9、TIMP-1、Collagen Ⅰ protein expression levels of mice in the model group increased significantly (P<0.01), but the expression level of E-cadherin protein decreased significantly (P<0.01); compared with the model group, the PDGF factor level and TIMP-1、Collagen Ⅰ protein expression levels of mice in dexamethasone group and Pingchuan Formula group decreased significantly (P<0.01, P<0.05), and the E-cadherin protein expression level increased significantly (P<0.01). The expression level of MMP-9 protein was significantly increased in dexamethasone group (P<0.01), while that was increased but not significant in Pingchuan Formula group (P>0.05).ConclusionPingchuan Formula can relieve airway remodeling by inhibiting PDGF release, reducing MMP-9、TIMP-1、CollagenⅠ expression and up-regulating E-cadherin expression, which provides a theoretical evidence for the clinical use of phlegm-removing drugs combined with blood stasis -removing drugs in the treatment of asthma.
摘要:ObjectiveTo isolate and purify antler plate protein of Sika deer and to explore its bacteriostatic mechanism.MethodsUsing antler plate as raw material, the total protein of antler plate was extracted by acid extraction and alcohol precipitation. The antibacterial protein of antler plate was isolated and purified by SephacrylS-100HR and reverse high performance liquid chromatography, and finally the molecular weight of the protein was determined. Taking Escherichia coli as the research object, the minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) of antimicrobial protein was determined. Combined with fluorescence microscope, scanning electron microscope and flow cytometry, the inhibitory mechanism of antler plate protein on Escherichia coli was explored from the aspects of Escherichia coli cell membrane permeability, integrity and the production of ROS reactive oxygen species.ResultsThe total protein content after SephadexG-25 desalted was 90.3%. The protein component S2 with molecular weight <20.1 kDa obtained by SephacrylS-100HR gel chromatography had antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli and antibacterial protein 18.963 kDa was obtained from S2 (<20.1 kDa) component by reversed-phase high performance liquid chromatography. The minimal inhibitory concentration of antibacterial protein to Escherichia coli was 5 mg/mL. The significant differences in electrical conductivity and β-galactosidase activity within a certain period of time in the treatment group indicated that the cell membrane permeability was impaired. Under scanning electron microscope the bacteria were deformed, collapsed, shrank and shattered after the action of antibacterial protein. The fluorescence intensity of PI single staining group was enhanced by fluorescence microscope, indicating that antibacterial protein destroyed the integrity of Escherichia coli cell membrane and cell wall. When the bacteria were treated with 2 times the minimum inhibitory concentration (2 MIC) for 2 hours, the expression of ROS was 69.3% by flow cytometry, and the level of oxidative stress increased significantly, which played a certain inhibitory effect on Escherichia coli.ConclusionAntimicrobial proteins obtained after the isolation and purification of antler plate proteins may achieve antibacterial effect by changing the permeability of cell membrane, the integrity of cell wall and improving the level of oxidative stress of Escherichia coli.

摘要:ObjectiveTo investigate the toxic effects of different concentrations of moxa smoke on rat lung tissues and to explore the potential molecular mechanisms.MethodsTwenty SD rats were randomly divided into four groups: control group, low concentration group of moxa smoke, medium concentration group of moxa smoke and high concentration group of moxa smoke. Rats in the moxa smoke groups were respectively placed in the poisoning cabinet of low, medium and high concentration of moxa smoke for 1 hour per day for 8 weeks. The expressions of SOD, TNF-α, IL-6 and IL-10 in the lung lavage fluid of different groups were compared. The pathological changes of lung tissue and the expressions of NF-κB, TLR2 and TLR4 proteins were detected.Results①The body weight of rats in the medium and low concentration groups of moxa smoke was significantly higher than that of the control group, while the body weight of rats in the high concentration group of moxa smoke was significantly lower than that of the control group (P<0.001) . ②There were significantly inflammatory cell infiltration in the lung tissue of the medium and high concentration groups, and fibrosis occurred in the lung tissue of rats in the high concentration group. ③The expressions of inflammatory factors such as IL-6, TNF-α, NF-κB, TLR2 and TLR4 in the rat lung tissue of the medium and high concentrations groups of moxa smoke were significantly increased, while the expressions of SOD and IL-10 were decreased (P<0.05) .ConclusionLow concentrations of moxa smoke do not significantly damage the body, and the lung damage induced by high concentrations of moxa smoke is mainly produced by promoting the expression of inflammatory factors.
摘要:ObjectiveTo investigate the metabonomic changes of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) tumor-bearing nude mice in vivo with icariin by liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS).MethodsAn orthotopic tumor-bearing mouse model was established and randomly divided into model group (vehicle control) and icariin administration group (150 mg·kg-1·d-1 of icariin). The drugs were given by intragastric administration continuously for 4 weeks. The bioluminescence value of lung tumor was examined by a living imaging system. The changes of lung tissue were examined by HE staining, and the changes of metabolites in serum were detected by HPLC-LTQ-Orbitrap Elite liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry.ResultsThe tumor growth was significantly inhibited in the icariin administration group, and the bioluminescence value of lung tumor in the icariin administration group was significantly lower than that in the model group (P<0.05). The pathological changes of lung tissue were improved, but had little effect on body mass. The levels of serum metabolites between the two groups showed different distributions. The differential metabolite was selected by VIP values >1 between the model group and the icariin administration group(P<0.05) by orthogonal partial least squares discriminant analysis (OPLS-DA). Compared with the model group, 20 metabolites significantly elevated in the icariin administration group, including D-tryptophan, 4-vinylphenol sulfate, dehydroascorbic acid, citric acid, N-acetyl-L-leucine, N-acetylvaline, stearic acid, N-acetyl-L-tryptophan, γ-glutamyl leucine, homovanillic acid, ascorbic acid 2-sulfate, indole, N-acetyl-L-methionine, lysolecithin (LyP), α-ketoglutaric acid, malic acid, hippuric acid, triacetaldehyde, octanoylglycine and γ-glutamyl leucine. These above metabolites were enriched in tricarboxylic acid cycle, alanine, aspartate and glutamate metabolism, glyoxylate and dicarboxylate metabolism, and pyruvate metabolism.ConclusionIcariin exerts anti-NSCLC effect by regulating tricarboxylic acid cycle, metabolism of alanine, aspartic acid and glutamic acid, metabolism of glyoxylic acid, dicarboxylic acid and pyruvate.
摘要:This paper reviewed related literatures of data mining based research on TCM syndromes, and evaluated the application, advantages and disadvantages of various data mining methods in the study of TCM syndromes. It was proposed that the data mining based research on TCM syndromes could be optimized in the further research by expanding research data sources, optimizing data mining algorithms and enhancing the directive function of TCM theory in data analysis for the purpose of making the research results more applicable to clinical practice.
摘要:This paper reviewed the clinical and fundamental research progress of Yiguanjian Decoction in treating chronic liver diseases. Yiguanjian Decoction shows curative effects on chronic liver diseases such as liver fibrosis, liver cirrhosis, primary liver cancer, viral hepatitis, and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, etc. as it can effectively relieve the clinical symptoms of patients and improve liver-related biomedical indexes and complications. In terms of mechanism of action, Yiguanjian Decoction can have multi-link and multi-target effects by regulating and controlling various signaling pathways inside the body, such as NF-kappa B (NF-κB) signaling pathway, Notch signaling pathway, Wnt signaling pathway, tyrosine kinase 1/signal transducer and activator of transcription 1 (JAK1/STAT1) signaling pathway, extracellular signal regulated kinase (ERK) signaling pathway, phosphatidylinositol 3 kinase/protein kinase B (PI3K-Akt)signaling pathway, and the expression of tumor necrosis factor (TNF-α) related proteins.
