Zhu Junfeng's experience in treating tympanites based on theory of qi transformation in triple energizer
Professor Zhu Junfeng's experience in treating tympanites is introduced in this paper. Based on the theory of qi transformation in the triple energizer, the treatment of tympanites emphasizes the regulation of qi movement and the unblocking of the flow in the triple energizer. It focuses on syndrome differentiation-based treatment across three key aspects: diffusing the upper energizer (dispersing lung qi, and purging the lung to regulate qi and move water), fortifying the middle energizer (strengthening the spleen, soothing the liver, and replenishing qi to support healthy qi and transport water), and warming the lower energizer (warming the kidneys to enrich qi, tonifying the kidneys and nourishing yin to promote diuresis). Additionally, the treatment addresses two critical issues: the Shaoyang pivot dysfunction and qi stagnation with blood stasis, thereby restoring the qi transformation function of the triple energizer, alleviating the condition, and promoting recovery. Two clinical cases are presented for reference.
