Efficacy of Gu's surgical conservative therapy for treating perianal abscess in infants and young children
To observe the efficacy of Gu's surgical conservative therapy for treating perianal abscess in infants and young children, and to explore the factors influencing the failure of conservative treatment for perianal abscess in this population, thereby providing a reference for clinical treatment decision-making.
Methods
2
Clinical data from 67 children with perianal abscess were collected, and they were treated with Gu's surgical conservative therapy for one month. After treatment, a two-month observation period was conducted to calculate the cure rate, and a one-year follow-up was conducted to record recurrence. Based on treatment outcomes, patients were divided into a cured group and a non-cured group, and the differences in clinical characteristics between the two groups were compared. Binary logistic regression was used to identify the risk factors contributing to the failure of conservative treatment for perianal abscess in infants and young children.
Results
2
①Sixty patients completed the treatment and follow-up, with 37 patients cured, resulting in a cure rate of 61.67%. The duration of symptoms for the cured patients was (21.95±17.02) days. During the follow-up, three patients had a recurrence, with a recurrence rate of 8.11%. ②The presence of multiple lesions [

Conclusions
2
Gu's surgical conservative therapy demonstrates satisfactory clinical efficacy in treating perianal abscess in infants and young children. The number of lesions and changes in symptoms after vaccination are associated with the success or failure of conservative treatment. Conservative treatment is more recommended for patients with first-onset, small-area, single-lesion abscesses.
