Experience with incision and suture dragging therapy of Gu's surgery for treating anal fistula in infants and toddlers
This paper presents the clinical experience with incision and suture-dragging therapy of Gu's surgery in the treatment of anal fistula in infants and toddlers. Precise preoperative diagnosis and strict adherence to surgical indications are fundamental. Intraoperatively, meticulous attention is paid to surgical technique to fully leverage the strengths of Gu's incision and suture-dragging therapy. Postoperatively, the timing of suture removal is managed with flexibility, with careful attention to nursing care and wound dressing. One representative case is included for illustration.
