Transformation of intelligent manufacturing in traditional Chinese medicine: application strategies and case analysis of dynamic matrix control in pharmaceutical process of traditional Chinese medicine
Intelligence has become a significant development trend in the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) pharmaceutical industry with the rapid development of big data and artificial intelligence. Due to the complexity of the TCM pharmaceutical process, the modeling, real-time monitoring, and control are still in a "grey box state". Model predictive control can predict calculations and optimize in real time, effectively handle the nonlinear and time-varying characteristics of TCM extraction. This paper proposes a model predictive feedforward control approach, using the TCM extraction establish an extraction predictive control system based on the dynamic matrix control (DMC) algorithm. Research findings indicate that compared to traditional proportional-integral-derivative control models, the model based on the DMC algorithm exhibits smaller system thermal fluctuations at the temperature setpoint, more robust system, and provides more accurate temperature control.
