Exploration of Zhang Zhenxian's experience in treating negative emotions of chronic fatigue syndrome based on yin fire, sovereign fire and ministerial fire
Chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) belongs to the categories of "consumptive disease" and "depression" in traditional Chinese medicine. Negative emotions mainly include anxiety, depression and other states, which are important accompanying symptoms of CFS and important factors promoting the adverse outcome of CFS. Professor Zhang Zhenxian believes that the pathogenic root of CFS is qi deficiency of spleen and stomach, and the pathogenesis core is the disturbance of sovereign fire. Qingyang depression due to qi deficiency for a long time, conniving at the lower energizer yin fire below the attack, intruding on sovereign fire, while qi deficiency for a long time to qi depression, stagnant qi transforming into fire leads to frenetic stirring of the ministerial fire, downward torment true yin, upward disturbance sovereign fire, result in CFS accompanied by negative emotions and promot the adverse outcome of CFS disease course. This article explores and analyzes Professor Zhang's clinical experience in the differential diagnosis and treatment of CFS with negative emotions from the perspective of yin fire, sovereign fire and ministerial fire. One proven case is presented.
