Interpretation of Expert Consensus on Diagnosis and Treatment of Cervical Spondylotic Myelopathy with Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine
Cervical spondylotic myelopathy (CSM) is the most serious subtype of cervical spondylosis, characterized by severe clinical symptoms, a high disability rate, and poor prognosis. In 2021, the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Integrative Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine promulgated the ,Expert Consensus on Diagnosis and Treatment of Cervical Spondylotic Myelopathy with Integrative Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine,, which provided a comprehensive introduction to the definition, etiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment principles, integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment methods, postoperative rehabilitation, nursing and aftercare of CSM. The consensus has been interpreted comprehensively to achieve a better understanding among clinicians.
