Expert consensus on traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis, treatment and efficacy evaluation of lower limb chronic ulcer
Lower limb chronic ulcer (ecthyma) is a common and frequently-occurring disease in the Department of Peripheral Vascular Diseases. It often occurs in the lower limbs, and is usually accompanied by a history of varicose veins in the lower limbs. The ulcer is difficult to heal, or it recurs due to injury after recovery, causing intractability in the clinical practice. The various internal and external treatments of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) have unique advantages and remarkable efficacy in treating the lower limb chronic ulcer. Professional Committee on Peripheral Vascular Disease of Shanghai Association of Integrative Medicine organized domestic experts in the field of peripheral vascular diseases to form an expert consensus on TCM diagnosis, treatment and efficacy evaluation of the lower limb chronic ulcer so as to provide reference for the clinical diagnosis, treatment and scientific research work.
