This paper introduces Professor Li Fazhi’s clinical experience in using Chailing Decoction. It is considered that Chailing Decoction is suitable for syndromes of the imbalance between liver and spleen, liver depression and spleen deficiency and water⁃dampness retention. Based on the theory of treating different diseases with the same therapy, Chailing Decoction is often flexibly used in the treatment of internal diseases such as hypertension, acne, insomnia, vertigo, pleural effusion and so on.
