Wang Yusan’s experience in treating laryngeal diseases
The purpose of this paper is to explore Professor Wang Yusan’s experience in the treatment of laryngeal diseases. It is considered that the etiology of the diseases is classified into two categories of wind-cold and kidney deficiency, treated with modified Guizhi Decoction or Fugui Bawei Pills, by the method of warming and dissipating or warming and tonifying. Professor Wang determines the prescription for laryngeal diseases often relying on pulse diagnosis, and advocates treating the symptoms of excess-fire by meridian differentiation, and has discussed the theory of “diphtheria taboo table”.
