Experience of TCM Master Liu Zuyi in treating epilepsy based on wind, phlegm, blood stasis and deficiency
This paper introduces TCM Master Liu Zuyi’s clinical experience in the treatment of epilepsy from aspects of wind, phlegm, blood stasis and deficiency.It is believed that the direct causes of epilepsy are wind, phlegm and bloodstasis, which are mainly produced by the liver, spleen and kidney. Clinically, it can be treated based on the liver, spleen and kidney condition, and Jianpi Dingxian Decoction, Xifeng Dingxian Decoction, Yishen Dingxian Decoction and Huoxue Dingxian Decoction are prescribed for the treatment of epilepsy. And one proven case is presented.
